History

Toril Snyen and SNY is a Norwegian singer, musician and songwriter living in Sweden since 2014. Her music is influenced by many different genres and you can hear elements of rock, jazz, synthpop, classical and soul in the tender arrangements and dystopian lyrics. Toril started off with playing classical piano in early age and sang in a doom-metal band in the mid 90s. As years passed she played a lot of jazz and started eventually writing songs. She even participated in a couple of electronica-releases and later on focused more and more on her own music and constellations. Currently Toril is working with 4 totally different musical projects in Sny (electropop), Toril Snyen Band (Rock, blues, new wave), Jazz Mode (jazzpop-trio that plays 80s & 90s pop/rock hits in jazzy versions) + Electronic synthmusic together with Nattefrost (DK). Full length album released in spring 2023.
